January is National Crafting Month
Here's a great project to work on during those chilly winter evenings
In January, you can purchase this wreath for $18.95
or earn it FREE with a $60 purchase!
Here is my step-by-step version:
The kit comes with all these pre-cut pieces...you just have to punch them out!
I inked the edges of all my petals - I used New England Ivy, Fern, Sweet Leaf, Juniper and Glacier.
Next, I assembled the flowers. I used the quilling tool to make the roses. It was easy. These types of roses are also available on our Cricut cartridges.
Then, using the paint brushes, I curled the flower petals.
For the Juniper/Glacier flowers, I didn't curl the petals...but instead used the quilling tool to bend the flowers upwards.
For the Fern/Sweet Leaf flowers, I curled the petals with the paint brushes first, then used the quilling tool to bring in the petals. Then, I closed them even more in my fist to give them a very rounded look.
Oh, I sponged the edge of the wooden frame with Whisper.
I brushed each flower with varying amounts of Shimmer Brush. When the light hits the flower just right, it just shines!
Then, it was time to start putting on the flowers. I started with the roses, because that's what the instructions said.
Rather than using the enclosed stickers, I cut larger letters with the Artfully Sent cartridge. The small letters are 1.25" and the larger letters are 2."
I also had some gold jewels in my stash for the centers of the flowers.
I hope you like my wreath.
You can get your own for free with a $60 order, or purchase outright for $18.95.

Mine is going to go on my front door in Hawaii. Yay!
Have a great day!
