Kissing is Fun!

Have you tried this technique?
Can you tell what part of this card has been "kissed?"

It's a little tricky, but "kissing" can really expand the possibilities
 of your stamp sets.

You can see there is only one bunny stamp on this stamp set.

How did I make another one going the other direction?

I enlisted another stamp set to help me out!

This is a background stamp set...with a fairly solid pattern.

You can make any stamp "solid" by turning it over and sticking the designed image to the block instead of the flat side!  But, for a project like this, it will work better
if the designed side was mostly solid.

Stamp your image on the cardstock...then stamp your image on your flat helper stamp.

(That is the kissy part!!)

You'll need to practice a few times on scratch paper because
the backside of a stamp is really slippery!!

Take your "kissed" image and stamp it directly on the cardstock.

The stamp will really stick to the cardstock because it is so solid!

Now you have a mirror image of your stamp!

Yes, it is a little lighter and less pristine than the original stamped image.

If you need them to be more similar, try using 2nd generation for the original image...or using a darker color for the 'kissed" image.  Practice will probably help, too!

However, I didn't want twin bunnies for my card, so I liked that
the "kissed" bunny turned out differently!

Have a great day!
